Terms of use

These terms cover your use of Cadence on iPhone, Android, and the web. Cadence is operated by Surfstack LLC, a Texas limited liability company, 17350 State Hwy 249, Ste 220 #37135, Houston, TX 77064. By creating an account you agree to them.

Your account

• You need to be 13 or older to have an account. Family accounts follow the same rule.
• Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.
• You can delete your account at any time. You have 30 days to cancel before it’s gone for good.

What you make is yours

Your reviews, letters, prayers, and recordings belong to you. We store them only to run Cadence for you and the people you choose to share them with. You can export all of it whenever you want. Our privacy policy explains who can see what.

How to treat your circle

• Keep what your brothers share with you in confidence.
• Don’t use Cadence to harass, threaten, or deceive anyone.
• Only invite people you know, and only with their contact details that you have a right to use.

No tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users

Cadence has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You may not post, share, or send anything that harasses, bullies, threatens, or demeans anyone; that is hateful, sexually explicit, or violent; that exploits or endangers a child; that impersonates someone; or that is spam or a scam. That covers prayer requests, blessings, plans you share, and anything else you put in Cadence.

• You can report a man, a prayer request, a blessing, or a shared plan from where you see it, and anyone can report a shared plan from its page without an account.
• You can block any man. Neither of you will see the other’s requests, blessings, or flares, and he isn’t told.
• We review every report within 24 hours. We remove content that breaks these terms and remove the accounts of people who post it or who abuse others.

Cadence Membership

• Cadence Membership is an optional subscription, monthly or yearly. Your rhythm, your circle, prayer, letters, voice answers, and your export stay free.
• Bought in the App Store or Google Play, it’s billed to your Apple or Google account and renews automatically at the same price each period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions. Refunds follow Apple’s or Google’s policies.
• Bought on the web, it’s billed by Stripe and you can cancel any time in Settings, Membership.
• A free trial, when one is offered, is once per account. Anything you made stays yours when a membership ends.
• On iPhone and iPad, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, alongside these terms.

Trustees and sealed items

A trustee you choose can ask to release your sealed items if you can’t. You’ll be told right away and have 14 days to cancel. If you don’t, the items are released to the people you chose. Choose someone you trust.

Not a crisis service

Cadence is not counseling or an emergency service. If you’re thinking about ending your life or you’re in danger, call or text 988 in the United States, or call your local emergency number. The Help page in the app lists lines for your country.

Plans and content

Plans and daily content are written by the Cadence team and partners. They’re offered for encouragement and aren’t professional, medical, or financial advice. Check with a doctor before starting a new training plan.
