One line a day of the prayer Jesus taught his friends. Read the line, sit with it, then pray it in your own words for ten minutes. By day 7 you'll have a pattern you can use for the rest of your life.

What you'll need: ten quiet minutes and Matthew 6:9-13.

    1. Pray before you read: ask God for wisdom to understand it and to live it (James 1:5).
    2. Read Matthew 6:9-13 once, slowly.
    3. Think about what it means to call God Father. If your own dad was hard, say that to Him honestly.
    4. Tell Him you're His son, and ask Him to lead you like one.
    5. Sit quietly for one minute.

    Hallowed be your name
